For participants who require a visa to enter Japan, the UR2026 Organizing Committee provides visa support in cooperation with JTB Corp.
Available Plans
We offer two support plans. Please choose the one that best suits your needs. Fees are to be paid directly by each applicant. Payment details will be provided by JTB upon confirmation of your request.
Plan A: Full Support — ¥13,000 (excl. tax)
This plan includes the following three documents:
• Invitation Letter
• Personal Guarantee Letter
• Itinerary during Stay in Japan
Recommended for applicants from countries where a detailed visa application is required (e.g., China, India, Southeast Asia, Middle East, Africa).
Plan B: Invitation Letter Only — ¥5,000 (excl. tax)
This plan includes:
• Invitation Letter only
Suitable for applicants from countries where a basic invitation letter is sufficient for visa application.
How to Apply
1. Complete your conference registration for UR2026.
2. Prepare proof of your completed registration (e.g., a PDF copy or screenshot of your registration confirmation email). Please ensure that your full name and email address are visible in the document.
3. Send an email to the organizing committee at fujiyasu[at]fc.ritsumei.ac.jp with your proof of conference registration attached. If possible, please use “UR2026 VISA Support Request” as the email subject line — this will help us handle your request more efficiently.
4. The organizing committee will forward your request to JTB, after which the visa support process will begin.
Important Notes
– Please submit your visa support request no later than June 15 (1 month before the conference) to allow sufficient processing time.
– Document issuance typically takes approximately few days after your request is confirmed.
– Providing visa support documents does not guarantee the issuance of a visa. The final decision rests with the relevant embassy or consulate.
– This service is available only to authors of accepted papers who are registered for UR2026.
